Service Summary
1. Percentage of Workforce in Services: 38%
2. Main Types of Services: The main types of services in Armenia include Residential services (orphanages, night care institutions, boarding schools, etched.), Community-based services( day care centers, Socio-medical rehabilitation centers, inclusive schools/kindergartens, community boards, etc.) and Family-based services ( biological family support, foster care, etc.)
3. Early Settlements (What were they and what impact did they have in the country?) the earliest known settlement in Armenia is on in 90,000 B.C. in the suburban Yerevan, which is the countries now known capital. Not much is known about this settlement but it lead to great things in Armenia! Around the time period of 7,000-4,000 B.C. many cities were placed conveniently around metal industries. Because of this the settlements began to forage many types of metals, like bronze, copper and iron. In fact this settlement was the first recorded to successfully smelt iron! The success of the forages of metal led to developing many items to be sold for trade!

Urban Patterns
1. Number/Percentage of People Living in Urban Areas: 1,888,225/ 56%
2. Largest Cities: Rank-Size Rule or Primate City? Some of the largest cities in Armenia include Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, and Vagharshapat. These cities follow under the Rank-Size Rule.
3. Applicable Models of Urban Development: I feel like the Urban Model that best fits Armenia would be Concentric Zone Model. I think this because this model focused on the Central Business District, which in this case is Yerevan the capital of Armenia. Yerevan is the focus of Armenia, by being its capital it has the highest population with the other cities falling around Yerevan.
4. Distribution of Social Classes Within Cities: The social class of Armenia seems to fall like a pyramid or food chain, royalty/nobles at the top and peasants at the bottom. There is a middle class who aren't quite peasants but they aren't quite royalty as well. It seems that most of Armenia were peasants until recently, when all problems resolved.
5. Urban Issues/Problems: The most notable issues of the urban Armenia seems to be their water problems. The country is having problems managing their water. A lot of the water is being "used carefully" and reduced to many people. Many don't have the water they need. Armenians are just trying to take what they can get right now. Another issue is transportation in the capital of Yerevan. Sustainable transportation is becoming a problem in the capital. Many find it unhealthy to transport because of pollution and environmental issues. Hopefully Armenia can get these problems resolved before they get worse!
