Many crops are grown in Armenia such as many types of grain (mostly wheat and barley), potatoes, vegetables, grapes, berries, cotton, sugar beets, tobacco, figs, and olives. Many farmers also use mixed-crop and livestock farming, which is allowing crops and animals to be farmed in the same area. Many farmers let the livestock freely roam around while the crops grow in the same vicinity. In conclusion farming in Armenia can be used in many ways, but this is the most common.

For example the timing of the production of the crops. This also helped Armenia in markets. For example it helped keep food fresh, and made packaging easier, which helps with the sales. Summary:
Many people wonder what the inside of a food business is like. Sargsyan is a woman who works at the fruit and vegetable preserves factory in the town of Yeghegnadzor in Armenia. She knows exactly what this business is like for example "Armenian canned and preserved food is sold in the Russian market at a price that is 20-30 percent higher than those for the same products made in Russia." Sargsyan is a preserver who, by the name of her job, preserves the crops to then be sold to a market. This food has a surprising expiration date of two years! This organization is trying to expand and is therefor working with many farmers and the Ecoglobe organization. This all supports evolution of the local food markets, bringing forth new opportunities for international markets and their organic foods. They plan on getting a license from the Ecoglobe organization which will open new opportunities for the company, this will also hopefully happen with farmers as well. Their overall objective is to target big markets and make a lot of profit!
